Dog Friendly Suffolk Update – 31st May 2010
Posted on May 31st, 2010 No commentsLots of things happening to the site since the last update. I have added the .co.uk domain so keying in either that or .com will take you to the same site. We have completed some more reviews; one for The Ship pub in Levington, one for Orwell Country Park, and one for Nacton Picnic Site.
I have also merged the user registration and membership for the Photo Gallery and the forum, and put both of these on their own sub-domains.
Finally, there is an uplift of storage for all members on the photo gallery to 100Mb per user. Talking of the Photo Gallery, there are now phots for Chantry Park online, this will be our next walk review.

Posted on May 26th, 2010 No commentsAnother two reviews are up on the Dog Friendly Suffolk website. The first is for the Greyhound Pub in Ipswich, suffolk, and the second is for Christchurch Park also in Ipswich, Suffolk.
I have also uploaded the pictures for our next Dog Friendly walk review which will be for Nacton. You can find these on the Photo Album section of the site, along with all the photos from all our walks.
I’ve now added an RSS feed to the Dog Friendly Suffolk website so you can subscribe and receive notifications when there’s a new review posted.
Don’t forget, you can sign up to the message board and let us know what you think of the reviews, or you can suggest some of your own. Or, you can just chat about dogs and walks in general.

Posted on May 22nd, 2010 No commentsNew features on the Dog Friendly Suffolk website are a Message Board, and a Photo Album.
The message board allows membersto add comments to our reviews, or suggest new venues (pubs or walks), or even submit their own review. There is sections for Dog talk, general chat, and even one for Jokes.
The Photo Album section allows members to view photos of not only the Pubs & walks we’ve visited, but also to see photos of Kopek & Malli. We are also offering 20Mb of space for members to upload their own photos. We will be reviewing this after a few months, and maybe uprating the space.

Website Update
Posted on July 30th, 2009 No commentsI have been off-line most of this month. This is due to my computer finally giving up the ghost, after 4 re-builds. I have given in and managed to build a new one. So I’ll be back on-line sometime in August.
Apologies to those who have sent me mails, and notes about books to review, I am not ignoring you. I’ve only managed to resurrect some of my mails from the last month, so if you’ve sent me a request for a book review then please re-send it as I might not have your request.

Wow, Matt’s review certainly seems to be popular. Despite only being up a short time, it is sitting in the number one spot. Although some of these figures may be slightly inflated, as the site is now attracting the attention of spammers. I don’t really understand their mentality, am I really going to approve a comment that’s advertising Viagra? To put the below figures into context, the main page gets around 800 views in 30 days at the moment, and has had around 1,000 views overall. Oh well, onto the figures:
